formed in 1996.

The Backwood Creatures guarantee party

muscle-men are slam-dancing around,

go crazy and the boys shake wild. Their
unique mixture of
early-sixties-Rock´n´Roll-Radio-Stuff,
popish Punk
and off course a good dose of the
Ramones turn the lamest ass into a
partymachine.
While most of today´s pop-punk-bands
have singers who sound like they just
left the kindergarten, Heini H. has a
big voice drenched with Blues, Soul,
and Rock´n´Roll. The two guitars of
Tommy T. and Nilz N. blast you away with
the coolest melodies. The bassstyle of
Leif L. sounds like Dee Dee
Ramone teams up with the almighty Devil
Dogs. Last but not least Tough Timo hits
the drums hard and shakes you away.

They are from Marseille, France. Skinny
punque-roque! Minimal, basic, melodic
and angry. Pagans, Angry Samoans,
Buzzcocks, Pistols, these are the names
most frequently dropped!

Nach drei erfolgreichen Alben,
unzÀhligen Singles und einem
Abschlusskonzert im Vorprogramm der New
Bomb Turks beendeten die französischen
Gasolheads Mitte 2003 ihr Wirken. Deren
charismatischer Frontmann Olivier
startet nun mit den Hatepinks voll
durch. VervollstÀndigt wird das Line Up
mit Mitgliedern von Dollybird oder
Plastic Congelators.
Schon Wochen nach den ersten Proben
absolvierten sie erfolgreiche Shows in
Frankreichs SÃŒden und halten inzwischen
ihre DebÃŒt Single mit den kalifornischen
Vorzeige New Wave Punks Distraction in
den HÀnden.
Aufruhr gab es auch um Sehr Gut Rock
und Roll, den ersten Longplayer der
Franzosen. Nicht minder aufmerksam wird
der soeben erschienene Nachfolger auf
dem kalifornischen Label Unity Squad
Records beÀugt werden.
